— Counselling for women and girls*
WHO WE ARE
OUR APPROACH
Unser Selbst-verständnis
The guiding principles of our work are rooted in a feminist stance and systemic thinking.
This means we work in a supportive and resource-oriented way, taking individual life contexts into account, with a strong focus on the self-determination of women* and girls*.
Our work is characterized by respect of the diverse identities and life realities of women* and girls*.
We operate under the understanding that women* and girls* experience life differently depending on their individual circumstances and social positions and therefore draw on different resources to cope with challenging life situations and experiences of gender-based violence. As a result, counseling requires highly individualized forms of support. In our practice we adopt a holistic and integrative perspective, collaborating with women* and girls* and, when appropriate, involving other relevant support systems such as partners, parents, peers, or schools.
